Competitive Salaries
Cardno WRG recognizes the importance of maintaining competitive salaries within the industry. Therefore, we are continually reviewing the industry salary indexes and evaluating our ability to not only stay within the standard averages, but to exceed them. Our goal is to provide opportunity for the future of our employees and their families. Compensation is just one avenue in which we do that.
Health Plan
Cardno WRG strongly believes in encouraging employees to engage in a healthy lifestyle. Our programs are structured to build a culture of health and wellness for the entire organization. We want employees to have the information and resources needed to keep themselves and their families healthy so they may enjoy life to the fullest. We offer an excellent benefits package that gives opportunity to access preventative care services and health improvement programs that help reduce the risk of more serious illnesses.
Cardno WRG offers a comprehensive health plan benefit to eligible employees. All regular full-time and regular part-time employees who work at least 30 hours per week are eligible. Under our Engaged Plan, employees are covered at no cost, and the dependent premiums are paid through a Flexible Spending Account to provide additional tax benefits. The company is self-insured, which has allowed us to create a plan that meets the specific needs of our employees.
401K Retirement
Cardno WRG is committed to offering sound investment options for its employee’s retirement plan. Cardno WRG works with Deschutes Investments to maintain exceptional funds and provide employees with individual investment strategies to maximize their benefit. We also offer a discretionary company match of each employee's deferral up to the annual IRS maximum.
The Employee Share Plan (the "ESP")
Provides eligible employees with an opportunity to acquire Shares in Cardno Limited (“Cardno”). Each year the Board may, at its discretion, offer up to A$1,000 worth of shares to each qualifying employee of Cardno, subject to satisfactory performance of the business. To be eligible to participate in the ESP, an employee must satisfy the relevant criteria as follows:
- Employees with at least 12 months employment and who work more than 100 hours a month will be offered A$1,000 worth of shares
- Employees with between 6 and 12 months employment and who work more than 100 hours a month will be offered A$500 worth of shares
Life Insurance
Cardno WRG offers a Basic Life/AD&D policy to each of our employees at no cost. This is a basic policy that pays the beneficiary 1x your annual salary, with a cap of $200,000. Life insurance is very important to employees and their families so Cardno WRG has made it easy for them to enhance the basic benefit offered with supplemental Life and AD&D coverage for dependent children and legal spouses.
Disability
In addition to the Life Insurance packages, Cardno WRG offers Short and Long Term disability coverage at no cost to its employees. We recognize that protection of your income through unexpected situations is an important benefit to ensure you and your family have minimal disruption to your financial stability.
Training and Continuing Education
Cardno WRG encourages employees to constantly enhance their knowledge and be on the cutting edge within their field. We offer an in-house training program to assist in keeping employees updated. We cover the costs for all licensed professionals to fulfill the continuing education requirements for their particular license and one professional organization membership. Paid study time and reimbursements for exam fees and travel expenses are also offered.
Paid Time Off and Holiday Leave
We recognize as a part of overall wellness, our employees need to balance work and personal time. We have a very competitive PTO plan and paid holiday leave policy to complement our other benefits and encourage a culture of health and wellness.

- “Friday @ 4” – bi-weekly event held on Cardno WRG paydays. Company encourages cross-discipline interaction & team building through this event and “Happy Hour” style atmosphere

Community Impact Crew (CIC)
The CIC group within Cardno WRG encourages community and charitable involvement. This effort is led and managed by the employees to ensure they are involved in charitable projects that mean the most to them. Employees are allowed time away from work to participate.
Examples of events are Habitat for Humanity, local food drives, animal shelter fund raisers, environmental cleanup events, US Military troop care packages, etc. |
